North Sea Posted 8 October , 2013 Share Posted 8 October , 2013 Does anyone know the names of the German vessels which sunk a substantial number of the Boston steam trawling fleet in the first few weeks if the war and took their crews prisoners? Lancashire Fusilier Posted 13 October , 2013 Share Posted 13 October , 2013 Does anyone know the names of the German vessels which sunk a substantial number of the Boston steam trawling fleet in the first few weeks if the war and took their crews prisoners? North Sea, Here is another great link, which lists of many, if not all of the recorded Fishing Vessel losses for several years by the month, including August 1914, plus other excellent details relating of those losses. I am sure you will find it interesting. http://www.naval-history.net/WW1LossesBrFV1914-16.htm Regards, LF
