I've come across there names conducting burial's of soldiers belonging to The Duke of Wellington's (West Riding) Regiment, around the Talana Farm area. Any info most welcome esp photo. No I haven't got Jenkyn medal card, would love a copy, both these Chaplains were mentioned in the 1/6th Bn Duke of Wellington's (West Riding) Regiments War Diary . War Diary states:- 19/10/1915 5.15 pm No. 208 Cpl J Lomas, B Coy killed HE Shell front trench 5.15 pm No. 2964 Pte A W Rooke, B Coy, killed HE shell in front trench 3 pm No. 2064 L/Cpl P Morgan D Coy, killed by shell, in Support trench 3 pm No. 2020 Pte F Goodwin D Coy died of wounds shortly after being hit by shell, Support trench (Buried at Talana Farm sheet 28 B1 8c8. 7 by 4th Cl Chaplain Page at 8 am 20th) 04/11/1915 8.30 am No. 3077 Pte G Dixon, A Coy, killed bullet through head F31 (Buried by 4th Cl Chaplain C W O JENKINS Sheet 28 1/40000 B1 8c8 7) 06/11/1915 1 am No. 1776 Pte W Binns D Coy, killed by Bomb F35.
