I am seeking more information on this officer died of wounds as German POW on 29 May 1918 at Hermonville Military Cemetery Marne.

I have his MIC and a photograph from the Illustrated Chronicle. It appears he died whilst attached to the 11 Lancashire Fusiiers, I think from formerly the West Yorkshire Regiment. Although from Ancestry POW Officers as attached from the R E.

He came from Kirkby Stephen

Any help appreciated
