I have two of those cardboard items that display the colours of the Regiment etc, one card being directed to the family of the soldier, saying amongst other things that he is serving, and the other that he served. Very attractive items being named to the same soldier, but what was their purpose? were they general issue or were they purchased? They measure about 6X4 approx.
