Moriaty Posted 21 September , 2013 Posted 21 September , 2013 I came across a headstone for Staff Nurse Ethel Fearnley in Boulogne East Cemetery. She was in the Queen Alexandra Imperial Nursing Service. The date of her death is 23 November 1914. Does anyone have any more information about her and the background to her death so early in the Great War? Moriaty
Admin spof Posted 21 September , 2013 Admin Posted 21 September , 2013 Her service record can be downloaded from TNA. If it shows what unit she was with, there may be a war diary too. Glen
