SilverFox100 Posted 19 September , 2013 Posted 19 September , 2013 I have just purchased a s/h copy of this autobiography of Admiral of the Fleet Lord Chatfield. I bought this for two reasons, one it does cover the part of his career in WW1 but also because it was first published in 1942 and states 'War economy - This book is produced in complete conformity with the authorised economy standards'. I haven't come across this before in my short period of purchasing mainly second hand copies of books written about WW1 for my collection. I assume that this applied to all books published during the WW2 years. Have forum members come across this a lot before? Also, is the book a good read or not? I haven't started it yet as there are many others in the queue first. Appreciate any replies. Mike
