Scots Guards Shoulder Title

Hi,

I don't have a 2nd Bn photo but here is one of 1/SG in Cologne 1919 SCOTS GUARDS over I and a second one of cloth slip on titles at the depot in 1917.

I would say that the men would wear what ever was available at the time and there could have been three or possibly four variations being worn in the same platoon at the same time, cloth slip on, metal, Red & White cloth and red & White cloth with a Bn indicator. On [page 8 Chappell shows II for 2/SG.

I totally agree.

I had only seen the illustration briefly and it didn't even cross my mind to

check to see if the author had a reference source.

I have learned alot.
