'The Tommy who wore a Frock' - Telegraph Article (14/09/13)

This story has been in the press before, but there's an article in the Weekend section of today's Telegraph with some pictures by the writer Joshua Levine (Forgotten Voices of the Somme) about L/Cpl Tommy Keele, Middlesex Rgt, who played first lady with the Ace of Spades Concert Part.

Unfortunately not available - at least not yet - online. (The article mention interviews with a 91 year old Tommy held by the IWM which should be available online Click but when I've tried accessing it I get an 'Error loading stream: ID not found on server' message reported.)

Here a couple of other Tommies wearing frocks - Part of the 22nd Division Theatre Company in Salonika...

There appear to be admiring glances from those in the background...
