SRD Posted 13 September , 2013 Share Posted 13 September , 2013 I have an Albert James Butt b 1876 Sarisbury, Hampshire who emigrated to Ontario Canada in 1911. There are family photographs labelled as him being in camp in 1915 in Petawawa in the 42nd Lanark & Renfrew Infantry and also in the winter. Can any one help me with info about his military service and what the Regiment did during the war? Thanks

kenmorrison Posted 13 September , 2013 Share Posted 13 September , 2013 I don't see any attestation papers for him - it could be that he was not accepted for overseas service. Ken
