towisuk Posted 13 September , 2013 Share Posted 13 September , 2013 The initial videos posted by Egbert from the Bundesarchiv were downloadable using a "record" button on a popular media player. The ones from the IWM are unfortunately not recordable/downloadable, this makes it impossible to view the films/videos stored at the IWM at our leisure unless we are on-line. Why the difference ? are the IWM control freaks ??? after all it's OUR heritage...!! regards Tom

egbert Posted 14 September , 2013 Author Share Posted 14 September , 2013 Same here . Maybe the IWM has gone bankrupt or withdrew from centenary project. Seriously- I hope it is only temporary because they did not pay their employees for September
egbert Posted 14 September , 2013 Author Share Posted 14 September , 2013 I have emailed the IWM for clarification whether the glitch is temporary or permanent. Hope they read emails from the ordinaries
