Service Record help please

Attached is a clip off a service record.

It looks like a "2 C.T. Thigh Admitted" 10.8.16

then "Resumed Duty" 4.9.16

I am wanting to know what the "2 C.T." might mean please (it took over 3 weeks to get better!)

I think it's more likely to be "I C T" - which is usually "inflammation of the connective tissue" - see here for more information:

I'll go with that, it sounds like it may not have been a war related injury?

Could have torn a hamstring jumping into a shell hole perhaps.
