centurion Posted 11 September , 2013 Share Posted 11 September , 2013 10th and 13th Battalion tanks, according to their serial numbers Interesting that they do not display "crew numbers" Possibly replacement tanks that have just been picked up by their crews and there hasn't been time to paint names and numbers on. Sidearm Posted 11 September , 2013 Share Posted 11 September , 2013 9052 had been in 13th Battalion hands since 22 May. Either this wasn't filmed in August, or they'd run out of paint and/or brushes, or 13 Bn didn't follow the earlier practice of painting crew numbers on. This is interesting film. Note the absence of sponson doors on at least one machine. Gwyn
delta Posted 11 September , 2013 Share Posted 11 September , 2013 Seems to have been filmed in a fairly safe area - none of the crew seemed to be in full kit. The weather was also fine and dust everywhere. Wonder where it was?
