Life Goes On, Ordinary Lives in Extraordinary Times

Recommended Posts

I am writing a book about 'ordinary' lives during WW1, these can be moments in time, a wedding, a soup kitchen in a village, May day celebrations, family snapshots, anything non-combatant

I take it you are aware of:

  • The Home Front in the Great War - Bilton
  • All Quiet on the Home Front - van Emden and Humphries
  • The Home Front Civilian Life in WW1 - Cooksley
  • Home Fires Burning - Lee

Just some of many
