Cannot find MC citation (MC) for (2nd) Lt J A Roberts

HELP ! Please

I have been trying to find the citation for 2nd LT J A Roberts in the London Gazette but am drawing a blank

I know it was awarded for 4/11/18 and his citation was in the gazette in 1919 but I just cannot find it, can anyone who knows how to search the London Gazette better than I obviously can help me please.

Yes this is the man I was looking for, All I had to go on was the inscription on his medals basically 2nd LT J A Roberts on his War and Victory medals and J A Roberts 4/11/18 on his MC

My father had seen these medals in this auction House (Bretells) and had phoned me with the details as I had posted. I asked about J A Roberts because I was interested in finding out more i.e any connection with the KSLI or Shropshire.

Do you know what they fetched, the guide price according to my Father (who lives in Newport) was £500 - £700

I think it was about £760 before premiums....I was outbid!!!!!!

The engraving on the back of the MC did not look the norm!!!!!
