Collar/Cap Badge?

Hope this is a WW1 related item, if not sorry and Mods please feel free to remove thank you.

Required a number of WW1 related badges and I have tried unsuccessfully to identify this one, any help with the meaning of inscription or any thoughts on the badge would be of great help.

The other badges were all WW1 era.

I have worked out writing seems to read "An Cor Deantais" some kind of Gaelic (me thinks)

Hello Walter

A government organisation created in 1940 for the recruitment of boys in Ireland for work in the 'turf' industry, I am sure there is more data available but that's all I could find for now.
