13th battalion Welsh Regt

Thomas George Reed, Private 18614, was with the Welsh 13th Battalion when he was KIA on 10th July 1916, his name commemorated on Thiepval Memorial Pier 7a Face 10a. Can someone please tell me where the 13th were when he was killed.

10th of July 1916, That would be Mametz Wood on the Somme, it was 38th Welsh Divs major battle during the Somme campaign.
