Hi

Would anyone by any chance have any headstone pics from

Douchy-Les-Ayette British Cemetery

I'm after

Sidney Cheadle Grave IV.E.17

John Thomas Cooper Grave II.A.11

to complete a little project.

Many thanks,

Graeme

Hi Graeme

I am having a week in Northern France very soon and intend to visit the Douchy-Les-Ayette cemetery while I am there.

The Sidney Cheadle you mention in your post would have been my Great Uncle. Do you still require the photos of the memorial headstones you have listed. If so, and if my visit goes to plan, I will get them for you.

I am researching my family and in particular Sidney Cheadle and wondered what your particular interest is with Sidney. He also had a brother Edwin, also killed in action and who is remembered at the Tynecot memorial, which I am hoping to visit as well.

Morning KSW

Yes please, I'm still after these headstone pics.

I have sent pictures of their parents headstone in Ryecroft Cemetery, Walsall on which the brothers are commemorated and also pics of the men themselves from the papers (although they are not brilliant).

Would you by any chance have better pics of the brothers I can use ??

Regards,

Graeme

Hi

I am researching the history of the Cheadle family; Edwin and Sidney are both Great Uncles of my husband. I would be grateful for a picture of the headstone on which they are commemorated as well as one of Sidney's headstone.

Elizabeth
