Moriaty Posted 17 August , 2013 Posted 17 August , 2013 I have come across a reference in mid October 1914 to a French edition of one of the British national newspapers being printed in London for the Belgian refugees, it was possibly the Evening Standard. Has anyone come across this? Moriaty PS I am not sure whether this post should go, hence it being posted under Miscellaneous.
Bradshaw E Posted 13 November , 2013 Posted 13 November , 2013 I don't know of an actual newspaper, but the Reading Standard had a small section in French called Our Belgian Corner which reported news from Belgium. It did not last long. You can find examples on 12 Dec (p. 5), 19 Dec, 26 Dec 1914.
