Roger H Posted 16 August , 2013 Posted 16 August , 2013 Craig I won't know the answer but it would help those in the know if you specified the year! Roger

Jack Sheldon Posted 17 August , 2013 Posted 17 August , 2013 Craig It is difficult to be absolutely certain, but my best estimate is 51st Reserve Division, with RIR 234 of 101 Res Inf Bde prime candidate for being located in the area you mentioned. Jack
Jack Sheldon Posted 17 August , 2013 Posted 17 August , 2013 Any time. Is there any particular reason for trying to pin this down? Jack
ss002d6252 Posted 17 August , 2013 Author Posted 17 August , 2013 Any time. Is there any particular reason for trying to pin this down? The 6th DLI were in action in and around the Hannebeke (filling the gap between Hill 37 and Gravenstafel) assisting the Hampshires and then moving slightly further east to assist the Royal Fusiliers. I'm been adding bits and pieces to to my site on the 6th but as yet I'd not been able to find out who was opposite them.Craig
