Royal Irish Rifles 2nd BTN

Hello.

Does anyone know how long an overseas posting would be for.

I have the following locations / dates for the 2nd Btn

1897 Poona

1899 South Africa

1903 Dublin.

Would the whole Btn be posted together overseas.

Would there be home leave during this time and would the home leave apply to everyone at the same time etc.

Dublin was not an overseas posting - it was, at that time, part of the United Kingdom of great Britain and Ireland.
