Anyone know whether Clive is OK/away or simply hibernating? No response lately!

I believe that he is involved in a family celebration. Should be around after today.

hi Jules,

Nice to know that my presence was missed after just 10 days off!

Back home last night, but grappling with instant workload and exactly 141 emails...

You'd think that as the Father of the Bride I might well have had more than my standard ration of drinkies, but as it happens I didn't even get slightly tiddly. The awesome sense of responsibility must've countered the effects of alcohol! That and the dancing, of course (no, not Morris dancing on this occasion).

I did however manage to tour assorted bookshops in the area before & after the Event, and returned with a couple of carrier bags full of mostly military bargains I just couldn't refuse...

You mean you still had some money left?

Congratulations to the happy couple and to both sets of proud parents.

Remaining sober at a wedding is nothing to be proud about :w00t:
