Trooper Horap William HOPKINS was born in Sydney, NSW on 25^th January, 1889. I haven’t yet established when he arrived in NZ.

He enlisted on 2^nd October, embarked on 15^th December, 1914 and arrived in Egypt on 3^rd February, 1915. He died of a septic throat on 3rd August, 1915 at Cairo [Egyptian Army Hospital, Pont-de-Koubbeh].
