Is anybody visiting this cemetery this year.

If someone would be so kind as to get a photo of the following I would be most grateful.

Longuenesse (St. Omar) Souvenir Cemetery

CWGC Grave 5. This is on the end panel behind the cross of sacrifice.

Joseph Joshua Loosemore

Died 12.2.1934

He served in WW1 in the Army Service Corps and later became a senior mechanic with the War Graves Commission.

He died still serving his fellow man.

Obtained a picture at last.

I think this is a fitting memorial to him.

Just stumbled upon this thread looking at information about Longuenesse, as I'll be there in 10 days. I'll certainly visit this grave...

It's nice how the Commission's workers got a nice plot together.
