Pighills Posted 23 June , 2013 Share Posted 23 June , 2013 Ah, I was messaged about this on Facebook. Such a simple thing, but possibly really effective.
seaforths Posted 23 June , 2013 Share Posted 23 June , 2013 Anyone on know if these would grow in the American Southwest? Zone 9 i believe. I don't know Ken, I thought they were quite hardy and might survive extremes but the ones I have planted are really struggling and after today, suspect they are probably waterlogged again! I signed up on the Poppy Pledge this evening tho'
sw63 Posted 25 June , 2013 Share Posted 25 June , 2013 What a lovely idea. So simple, so fitting. I've passed details on to our local schools.
Black Sapper Posted 15 July , 2013 Share Posted 15 July , 2013 These pix taken today 15.07.2013 in fields in Ravensthorpe, Northamptonshire, East Anglia - I though they looked nice? (Taken by my son's father in law - we live in the Caribbean so don't see many poppies! Did try to grow some once from seed, along with other British wild flowers, some grew, some just couldn't handle the sun).

Roger H Posted 17 July , 2013 Share Posted 17 July , 2013 Post #8. Absolutely stunning. Please tell me it hasn't been photoshopped. Roger Edit: having had a closer look it clearly has. The poppies on their own would be good
