jhall Posted 11 June , 2013 Share Posted 11 June , 2013 hi everyone looking for info on Edwin james porter grenadier guards number 14317 found him on the 1911 census 1st battalion gg age 16 found his medal card shows him land in france 19/10/14 he got married in 1919 Electoral Rolls shows him still public quarters in 1932 so a guessing he served for 20 plus years possibly more would like to know if his is mentioned in battalion history think his army number is around mid 1909? any more info would be great james Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

May take a while but no doubt there are some Pals who might be able to give you info on what 1st Bn G G were doing in WW1, if you haven't Googled that for yourself.
