corisande Posted 31 May , 2013 Author Share Posted 31 May , 2013 After a day's ferreting the best I can find is The first significant engagement occurred on 23 July 1919 when Ironside had gone to investigate a meeting of White Russian forces at Obozerskaya. The Australian's subsequently repulsed a Bolshevik attack on a railway in the area surprising the enemy during a relief of their forward blockhouses. They attacked with their bayonets, perhaps killing 30 and wounding many more before setting fire to the blockhouses and withdrawing But nothing to give any more Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
