pebbles Posted 30 May , 2013 Share Posted 30 May , 2013 The June / July 2013 Vol 59 of the CWA magazine has an article on recent archaeological activities by the Namib Desert Archaeological Survey covering WW1 activity in the Namib Desert, CWA web site http://www.world-archaeology.com/ and Survey http://www.antiquity.ac.uk/projgall/kinahan325/ Neither site has much information at a quick glance but there are contact details for follow-ups such as purchase of the magazine and for survey team. It is labeled as German "South West Africa Archaeology." VRJS Note: This article is a precursor to a planned book on WWI in GSWA and the Northern (Swakop River) Campaign 1914-1915.
