Pozieres British Cemetery

Whilst at Pozieres on Sunday I noticed a burial of an unknown soldier which had taken place on Friday 11 April. There were a couple of poppy wreaths, one from the British Ambassador in Paris. Does anyone know where this soldier was found?

Didn't know about this one - they recently buried a Royal Fusilier (unknown from October 1916) at AIF Burial Ground, in the grave next to the Earl of Fevershem. He was found near Guedecourt and was probably 8th or 9th Battalion killed on 7th October or 26th or 32nd Battalion same date, but near Ligny.

I have been advised by the CWGC that the remains of this soldier were discovered during the construction of farm buildings to the north of Pozieres on 28 September 2002.
