Ian Riley Posted 17 May , 2013 Share Posted 17 May , 2013 John's map filled with huge railway sidings and large numbers of camps reminds me of how hard it is to convince people of the scale of operations and the density of facilities when you are on the ground standing in open farmland (I will except the industrial estate north of the Ieper ring road from this statement).You can wave your arms about as much as you like but they always seem to remain unconvinced that they are standing opposite a large marshalling yard or a camp capable of holding 1000 men ...
