Location Information: Nangis is a small town in the department of Seine et Marne around 30 kilometres east of Melun. The Communal Cemetery, the only cemetery in Nangis, is situated on the outskirts of the town in the direction of the village of Rampillon on the D62. The cemetery is open during the day. The standard headstone and private memorial are situated in a single centre filled plot in the second avenue on the left of the entrance of the cemetery.

Historical Information: Nangis Communal Cemetery contains one Commonwealth burial of the First World War.

Only one Commonwealth war grave here.................Well it's got to be Julien Smith, our chap of the day....................I wonder how he ended up here alone?
