Rockdoc Posted 9 May , 2013 Share Posted 9 May , 2013 (edited) I've come across a reference for 3rd May 1917 to a visit by General Hugh Davie Whyte-Thompson to the Karasouli position of 90th AA Section and the Diary records a discussion with the General about the attachment of Br Ryan from 20th Heavy Group and Sgt Quirk from 32nd AA Section to 90th AAS. I have found that General White Thompson, as he's more usually recorded, went to Salonika as CRA 27th Division and ended the War as GOCRA XII Corps. Does anyone have any more information on this officer? For example, what was his position on this date?
