SteveMarsdin Posted 29 April , 2013 Author Share Posted 29 April , 2013 Here's Robert post in full: Hello all, I am working on a history documentary series about Britain and the First World War. We are searching for both descendants of the Battle of Mons and also Kitchener's Army of men who volunteered to fight before conscription was introduced in 1916. If you know of anyone who might have a personal recollection or story to tell about a relative who was involved in either the Battle of Mons or Kitchener's Army and would be willing to discuss this with us please let me know at your earliest convenience. Thanks for your help. Kind regards Robert robert.ryan2@bbc.co.uk
