Model of tank "130" - help please

delta

Recommended Posts

I have asked to help the relative of a tankee VC learn more about a model tank which recently came into their family.

As you can see, the tank is painted with the number 130, which IIRC, was one of the tank banks

Grateful if knowledgeable pals could assist.by confirming which tank the model represents and who might have made it

Please' it is tankie and not tankee! :w00t: Reminds me of my happy days reading Japanese expressions within "Commando" in the 60's.

Stephen, 130 was 'Nelson'. Search the site Picture Sheffield for 'Tank' and you'll find images of it in Sheffield.

Hi, nice model Stephen ! Which VC was it ? Tank I30 was used extensively on the UK bond raising tour and there are loads of photos of it all around the country. Geoffrey
