Cliff Lonsdale Posted 24 April , 2013 Share Posted 24 April , 2013 On behalf of the original owner's son, I am trying to trace a ceremonial sword in a metal scabbard with the inscription: ‘Presented to Major J.A.Methuen at the fall of Swakopmund 1915’. This item disappeared from the family's home in Mutare, Zimbabwe during a period when the home was rented out, the disappearance being discovered in 1995.
