Amberdog Posted 15 April , 2013 Share Posted 15 April , 2013 http://www.thecourie...ws/local/dundee Interesting article in todays Dundee Courier about a treasure chest relating to a Henry Adams being opened next year. A descendant has traced the chest down to a Dundee Postal sorting office. There are letters contained within the chest and they hope to trace the descendants of those soldiers. Founn this medal card at Ancestry. Could be him I suppose, but there is another from Paisley area. Mind you we don't know yet if that's his full name etc. I've emailed the Courier and hopefully they will pass it on to draw his descendants attention to this website. Lancashire Fusilier Posted 15 April , 2013 Share Posted 15 April , 2013 It will be interesting to see what was placed in the box 100 years ago ? Regards, LF
arboskittler Posted 16 April , 2013 Share Posted 16 April , 2013 Just as interesting will be how they are going to trace the decendants of the letters that are in the box, so that they can be present at the opening of the box? Andy.

Andy. I had a chuckle about that myself! In typical Dundee Courier style, the email address I openeed via their website kicked back my email! Never come across such a useless website.
