See, the minute I turn the camera on them they all behave themselves, not two seconds before this shot they were all dancing on the tables (joke):

Please name those you know, I don't know everyone (I know, hard to believe innit!)

The room starts to fill up in anticipation of the conference commencing, and people begin to lay out their stalls:

Time for Alan and Sue to take a well deserved break, you can almost hear them sighing!

A quick one of our Kate Wills too:

Whoops, just as I thought I'd finished, I realised one I'd left behind.

A great one of Martin (Burlington) and Rick, our Australian pal, who comes across every year. A great drinking buddy and a great bloke:

So, that really is it from me for this year. Here's to next year's pics people, and let's hope there's some newcomers to photograph, otherwise it's going to be an exercise in watching us codgers growing old year by year :o

" it's going to be an exercise in watching us codgers growing old year by year "

I'm not seeing any suitably unflattering pics of old codger Kim yet?

I thought I had escaped being photographed!

The crew are Molly Rennie (who is about to join the Forum), Margaret (Ayesha), Alan Tucker (Jack) and the bald old so-and-so is me.

The food was not expensive, and was also rather good.

Ayesha had done a days' work, and then there was the drive down to the hotel and the taxi rise to the OC, so was not only famished, but also wouldn't have been up for a late night (any more than I would have been). So since they ate in the OC last year, it seemed sensible to do so again.

The beer was good, too.

Bruce

To put the record straight....

1. Bruce is not a captain

2. He doesn't have a crew

3. If he does it is a secret and I am not a member of it!!!

If it was a ship's crew, then Margaret would certinly be the navigator, I would be the steersman, Molly the Chief Engineer.

Always room for you, Alan......when sailing under ballast.
