Hi David

If you are talking about WW2 or later, there is no way. Privacy laws.

For WW1 - medal index cards

Hi David,

If you are talking about WW1? Please give some details on here such as: surname, christian names, service number, rank and regiment, and I am certain that somebody will come up with the information you request.

Hi David,

If there is a medal card, then this means that the medals were sent out to your GGU. All other ranks medals were sent out automatically for WW1, but commissioned officers, or their next-of-kin, had to apply for theirs.

How sad David !!

You can find a form online, at the mod website I think that next of kin can apply for medals that were not issued

Hi David, medals "returned" are usually stated a such on the MIC. As has previouslybeen stated he would have been sent these as a matter of course for other ranks.

For WW2 Have you applied for or do you have his Service records - as the Next of Kin you more than likely will be able to obtain these!.
