steandpaula Posted 11 April , 2013 Share Posted 11 April , 2013 Hi, Would anyone be good enough to point me in the direction of their whereabouts early September 1918 please. I will be over w/c 22/4 and will be trying to follow a MM winner casualty steps. He is buried in Gouzeaucourt. Any map would be great. John_Hartley Posted 11 April , 2013 Share Posted 11 April , 2013 Battalion history has them attacking south east of Le Transloy on 2/9, then moving to a trench east of Rocquigny. On 6/9 "D" Coy relieved a coy of the Borders south of Havrincourt Wood. The next day"D" became the vangaurd for 52 Brigade advancing east of Desart Wood to the Fins-Gouzeaucourt Road. That do you?
