KES Bath: Capt Tom Jones

Capt Tom Bright Jones, 16 Squadron RAF, died on 11 April 1918. He was killed with his observer, Temp Lt Vernon King RM, in RE 8 B6522 while on Artillery Observation Patrol. His aircraft was engaged by 3 enemy aircraft at 5.15pm, shot and brought down. He is buried in Aubigny Communal Cemetery Extension.

Tom Jones is one of 74 Old Edwardians who died in the Great War.
