Chris_Baker Posted 1 April , 2013 Share Posted 1 April , 2013 Any pals who live or will be visiting Dublin around 14 April - this is a great chance to learn more about the fighting at Easter 1916: or see www.dublinbattlefieldtours.ie
AlanCurragh Posted 1 April , 2013 Share Posted 1 April , 2013 We've used the book to guide us around the area - a really fascinating story so I'd imagine the tour would be well worth taking
jdoyle Posted 1 April , 2013 Share Posted 1 April , 2013 I did the tour of Bully's Acre on my last visit to Dublin (there are a number of Easter Rising burials there as well as soldiers from other eras ). Paul O'Brien knows his stuff and puts things across well.
Don Posted 15 April , 2013 Share Posted 15 April , 2013 Went on the tour yesterday and I was very impresed by Paul O Briens knowledge. It was totally captivating-whatever the weather” There is a lovely surpise during the tour which brings you right back to the battle and how so many casualties occurred. I would strongly recommended it Gerry
