aramsay Posted 27 March , 2013 Share Posted 27 March , 2013 Last week, I bought at auction, a lonely 14/15 Star to 10040 Pte.Elvin of the Scots Guards.... While trawling the web for possible info. about this soldier, I found out that his BWM & Victory medals were sold at a different Glasgow auction house, back in October, 2011 ! I contacted said auction house, and they phoned the buyer, but apparently the medals had been sold on long ago, and they wouldn't give me buyer's contact details.... Apparently the original buyer (at the auction) is from Blackpool. I wish to re-unite this trio....whether I will be a buyer or a seller is another matter !!
