I know this is not a book review, but I didn't know where else to post this.

I've just aquired an old copy of a book titled Sir Douglas Haigs Great Push.

I was wondering if any pals had an idea when it was published,I suspect it was sometime in 1917 as it was sanctioned by the War Office.

Many thanks.

Stu,

It’s in the N & M list as originally published 1916/17

“A series of twelve fortnightly, illustrated journals featuring reproductions of the War Office film and official photographs of the Battle of the Somme and providing an account of the campaign.”

N & M’s reprint [2003] is SB with 392 pages with 597 illust & 2 maps price £15.50

If you have an original consider yourself very lucky

Regards
