Nicholas Somers served  as  6029 Royal Irish Fusiliers   27/8/1897  until  26/8/1909.  A few pages of record on Ancestry and Find my Past.

Record on Find my Past for   6547 Leinster Regiment  Nicholas Somers born Callan. Attested  3112/1901, transferred to reserve 29/11/1909, discharged 30/12/1913.  Is the man you are looking for Nicholas Somers Died in Callan 13/6/1920 aged 35?

I'm getting confused.  I believe that 414894 was born in Dublin 1879.  6547was born in Callan in 1883 and died in 1920. Both appear to have records on Fold 3

I think from FMP the number is 4581

 

One of them is wrong anyway!

Feck, I was hoping there might be something located somewhere else in pension or record docs. He has all the hallmarks of being a qualifier but it is not possible without that sheet, or e mention in the pension docs.
