BNA snippet shows she was the victim of unwanted attention May 1919. Shows her as MT RASC.

Reports of inquest show died under anaesthetic for appendicitis as indicated in Death Cert.

Nothing else so far.

re J G Towner

The MIC for Towner 1137 Rifle Bde 3rd Bn  gives first name Joseph but nothing extra. Entry 10/9/14

The Casualty Lists for 1915 have J Turner, 1137, Rifle Bde, 3rd Bn, Wounded report rec'd 30/12/14 and again 26/7/15.

Nothing disagrees with your documents but still not the confirmation you seek ?

You are streets ahead of me lads. I did look ate the 1903 attestation but passed it by as he should have been 15 in 1903. The enlistment doc says 18. But it is a possibility and if he joined again in 1905 he would have been 18 at that time. So you may be right!
