I have given up on this one and considered passing him by but reckoned if you guys and gals cannot find him no one will. Can you help please? He is Edward Magee, and he is registered in Dublin.

The FMP RNR service records don't have a match but I don't know how complete they are.

And we are back. This lad has some bits and scraps in FMP all in the one folder, but the critical sheet is missing. It looks like the main file is somewhere else. Can you help please? His number is R/7398 also listed as 3/7398, John Mannion, Connaught Rangers.

CWGC     John B Macaulay  died 8/2/1919  buried Grangegoman Military Cemetery.

OK so I am working on the supposition that this soldier is the same as the Cork death cert but all I can find on FMP is his SWB readout below. Can you help please?

The only one I could find is the Pension Ledger - is it the same as what you were looking at George?

Simon Meney or Meaney or Meany-  FMP has a number of records:

 

5451 Meney S  appears as Hospital List 3/11/17 9 MunFus att 163 Lab Co Myalgia mild 3/11/17

 

5451 Meney TB (clearly a transcript error) appears as Hospital Admissions 9 MunFus att 163 Lab Co Myalgia  aged 52 in Nov 1917

 

There are service records for a Simon Meaney or Meany  RMF from 1885- 1902 RMF no 1645. Born Cork, 1867. Father James, 14 Bailey Lane Cork.
