Too early for the RAF, that wasn't formed until Apr 18.

I can find his birth Sept 1890, and death November 1917 but very little else. Some very interesting George Connells-in both Munster and Northumberland Fusiliers but not your man. Hope the others are being more successful!!

Thanks for trying lads, it really was worth shot. It will have to be stored under unfindable.

I will try and get an easier one for next time. Thanks again for all your help.

 Kindest regards.

 Tom.

I have been further pursuing William Healy. I haven't found anything beyond above but have reported missing images-pages 3/4 of discharge notice. Now they may not be there at all but you never know

Re: Connell

I wonder if it does actually say 'RAF', whereas the writer meant to write 'RFA' ?

That's the assumption I was working on.

OK guys and gals, a medical question if I may please. If a soldier was discharged with Epilipsy and dies after from heart failure, does that sound right?

My impression with James Burke is we have not conclusively identified him.

The informant is sister maybe the Elizabeth Burke birth registered in Gorey. This lady appears to marry Nicholas Murphy. Registered Gorey 1905. Not confirmed.

can someone definitely we have identified him.

I have two family members with epilepsy. Logic dictates that there is no direct link with cardiac problems. However, I am not a medical man,
