museoemotivo Posted 25 October , 2012 Share Posted 25 October , 2012 Hallo, I post the program of teh celebrations that the Emotional Museum of the Great War (www.museoemotivo.org) and the museum of the Great War of Maserada (www.museodimaserada.it) are preparing togheter to celebrate the Remembrance Day on next 11 November in Italy. We are two small museums in Treviso province, near Venice, where died many british soldiers buried in two cemeteries, Giavera British Cemetery and Tezze British Cemetery, but togheter we try to let italian people know what those men did for our country. And if you will be in Italy that day ..... Pierluigi

Longboat Posted 27 October , 2012 Share Posted 27 October , 2012 Pierluigi, My thanks as well. I believe that 5 of the men buried at Giavera Cemetery are from the 11th Battalion Royal West Kent Regiment and I am hoping to visit some time next year. I am glad to hear that in Italy somewhere and someone celebrate the Remembrance Day! Bravo Pierluigi, sono uno dei pochi che in Italia porta un poppy! Spero di venire presto a vedere il museo!
