His war medals appear to have been sent to his widow Mrs Mannix (probably remarried) at Mays House, Lancaster. Try the regimental museum of the KORL.

This seemed to ring a bell with me!

But I can recall who has his death plaque if that is any use? (perhaps not!)

Thanks for the replies, i know the family house was Mayo House, Dallas Rd, Lancaster. It is now a dentists, he was killed in action 27/5/1918 aged 43, apparently shot by german aircraft. He was also awarded the DSO.
