Visiting le Trou-la Cordonnerie area, anyone know this area

Hi All

I was looking at the le Trou area for possible K.S.L.I. tour, I was hoping to drive along the Rue de la Cardonnerie but on looking up directions on Google maps, the Rue de la Cardonnerie came up as Restricted usage road. Does this mean it is a private road and Jo & Jane public are not allowed to drive down it ?

It isn't a private road but I wouldn't advise taking anything larger than a 7 or 9 seater mini-bus along it. Even that would be too big for the offshoot behind VC Corner which runs parallel to Rue Delval. The roads are very narrow and edged with deep ditches to cope with the high water table.

That is useful to know, I was hoping to be able to travel from VC Corner to la Boutillerie via the Rue de la Cardonnerie, so a small mini-bus getting down it is great.
