A mystery cemetery - any ideas?

I know some Pals here enjoy a mystery, so here is one to ponder - Any ideas where this is? The only information I have is that it was part of a same set of photos as a pic of the Ulster Tower and one of the Scottish memorial in the Newfoundland Park, so I'm assuming its in the same area of the Somme. Presumably it was taken in the first half of the 1920s.

I have one idea for where it might be, but can anyone else hazard a guess?

You're quick off the mark Tom! Yes, that's what I was thinking. The size of the cemetery, layout of the graves and location of the cross seem right for Connaught.

A more recent view from roughly the same angle

Tom

For the benefit of anybody who may not be familiar with the area, should maybe mention that the structure on the horizon between the two small trees right of the War Stone is the Thiepval Memorial. The Ulster Tower is a few hundred yards behind the camera.

Thanks Tom, I didn't have a photo from that angle but I think that confirms it. Even the slope of the hill behind looks the same!
